Like many leading innovators, Wild Energy began in a garage. Founded by Mike Sorensen in 2019, it has grown into the leading wireless metering platform for campgrounds, marinas, manufactured housing communities and a wide variety of industrial applications. Mike’s own camping experiences revealed a hidden problem: electricity and water were treated as “free,” with careful users subsidizing heavy users. Wild Energy was created to solve that imbalance by giving property owners technology to accurately measure and allocate utility costs.

Today Wild Energy combines revenue-grade metering, seamless software integrations and guest-friendly portals to help operators recover costs fairly, stay compliant with regulations, and give guests real-time visibility into their usage.
